MediaMall Technologies, the creators of PlayOn, PlayLater, and MyMedia was founded in 2003 to make it simple, affordable, and fun to enjoy your favorite movies, TV shows, and videos from the internet on your TV or on your mobile devices and tablets. MediaMall operates with offices in New York, Seattle, and Copenhagen.

Jeff Lawrence, President and CEO

Jeff is responsible for the overall strategy and business with a focus on product development and strategic alliances. Jeff brings deep product and telecom experience from GetConnected, Inc. where he served as Senior Director of Broadband for three years. At GetConnected, Jeff architected the Broadband solution and forged relationships with all major US Broadband Suppliers, (including Verizon, SBC, BellSouth, Qwest, Sprint, DIRECWAY, and the 8 largest cable MSOs), as well as managed the integrations between the GCI Network and the Broadband Supplier Billing/Provisioning Systems. Jeff also worked with a consortium of the eight largest MSOs developing a unified retention strategy and operational solution. Prior to GetConnected, he worked in Booz•Allen&Hamilton’s strategy group, developing strategic solutions for McGraw Hill. Jeff spent three years in Accenture’s Systems Integration Group focused on the telecommunications industry where he served market-leading clients such as Qwest and Bell Atlantic. He also brings product experience from Bell Atlantic where he managed the development of Legacy replacement billing system and service order applications. Jeff holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.

David Karlton, Chief Technology Officer

David is responsible for MediaMall Technologies’ product architecture, software development, and technology roadmap. David brings over 10 years of technology experience from Digital, Silicon Graphics, SAIC, Netscape, and Kapow Technologies in Copenhagen, Denmark. David's experience and expertise include developing novel GUI toolkit API's, generic database integration layers, and largescale Java enterprise application frameworks. At Netscape, David was a member of the team that worked in collaboration with Javasoft to design and implement the first version of the Java Swing GUI toolkit, an integral part of the Java SDK. More recently, he has worked as a core engineer at Kapow Technologies, developing robust Java applications for enterprise web application integration. David also worked at SAIC as the lead programmer to creating a high-throughput biopharmaceutical research instrument, incorporating extensive knowledge of the biological sciences with hardware engineering and software application development. David holds a B.S. in Biology from Harvey Mudd College.

Tracy Lawrence Burman, Chief Operating Officer

Tracy is responsible for the overall strategy and building the business with a focus on business development, finance and administration. She brings management and leadership experience from GetConnected, Inc., formerly the market-leading wireless and broadband transaction processing software provider, where she was the co-Founder and served as the Chief Executive Officer for four years. As the CEO of GetConnected, Tracy built a Company from idea to a profitable mid-sized Company serving market leaders such as AOL, Best Buy, Dell, MicroCenter, MSN, Staples, Verizon Online DSL, Verizon Wireless, SBC Communications, Cingular, BellSouth, Qwest, AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile, Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox, Cablevision, and Adelphia. Tracy also served as President of Jobster.com, running the Enterprise Business, which sold recruiting solutions to market leaders such as Boeing, McGraw Hill, Microsoft, Samsung, Google, and many other small and large organizations in the US and Europe.  Tracy brings strategy and operations experience from A.T. Kearney where she worked with high-profile clients such as FedEx, General Motors, and Prudential Healthcare, as well as smaller developing clients. She also brings sales experience from Procter & Gamble. Tracy holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia.

What is PlayOn?
PlayOn is software that you install on your Windows PC.
