I tested PlayOn on Vista with PS3 as the client and liked the product very much, both from an ease of install/config and usage perspective.

I understand that 'sharing local files' is planned and I think it's a great idea. I'd prefer not to install multiple products to achieve file sharing and that PlayOn shoould have this capability enabled ASAP. Perhaps implemented without transcoding initially due to the additional complexity. My main interest is for streaming Divx content so that I don't have to store it on the DLNA client device (PS3) due to storage limitations.

The competing products and their feature local file sharing capabilites set are going to take market share in the absence of these features in Playon.
