At least for me, PlayON works quite well with the Myka device
Myka told me they had been having some problems with PlayON, which could usually be cleared by clearing Myka's cache.
But it has been working fine for me with no problems.
The only problem, if it is indeed a problem, is that you can't see the "console" output, when not actually watching a program.
The additional buffering provided by Myka means a slightly slower startup, but a little more protection from network hiccups.
Obviously this configuration is not officially supported by PlayON, as with many other UPnP/DLNA devices, but I wanted folks to know that in at least one case, it works just fine.
I have PlayON running under XP in a virtual machine (VirtualBox), and so far a PS3, Xbox-360, D-Link DSM-520 and now a Myka all work just fine.

Awesome!
