Just wondering who/how many of us are out there. Certainly the game systems outnumber us and I'd hate to think that PlayOn would stop supporting our device/mediasmart gateway.
I have only been using PlayOn for a few weeks but prefer it to the Vista Extender. UI is not as slick, but better content.
I have had the TV almost two years and used the 'green button" features very rarely before upgrading to Vista from XP. As a Vista extender, I might have used the MediaSmart features once a month, mostly to show house guests the capabilities of a networked TV. Since installing PlayOn, we use the capabilites several times per week. To me, PlayOn has finally delivered on the promise of having this network capable TV.

I have a MesiaSmartx280n + a PS3 and Playon is the Star in both systems. Have you tried your MediaSmart TV with Windows 7?
I probably won't upgrade(?) this computer to 7 for quite a while. I hate giving money to MS. I have an old computer that I use for an analog to digital converter board that I won't have any use for once I finish converting all my old tapes and films. If I ever buy that one a new motherboard and make it into a server, that one will get 7.
I use PlayOn on my HP MediaSmart HDTV (7842) every day!
Works great, and ZI'd like to keep it that way...
I do not have Vista or 7 running on my systems, so even the Extender option is out....
