Is there a way to resume movies when watching through Netflix? You can do this through their online viewer, through Media Center, and through xbox's service. Is there a way you can add this to PlayOn? Right now if you stop the movie, you will play it back from the beginning.
Overall the video quality is fantastic and I'm quite happy with the quality.

10000% agreed. This is THE missing feature.
I don't see how that would be possible, after all every time you select a video, a new mpg stream is created on your computer to feed to your device. I guess the only way would be to have PlayOn access a certain point in time in the stream, but that would mean communicating with the Netflix server, which would require Netflix to provide an API to MediaMall, and I never got the feeling that was the case. I also like creating really long sentences, with tons of commas.
Ooh nevermind, apparently something major changed with the Netflix servers, now you can only resume (no automatic restarts), so it's like the opposite problem now. Netflix devices and 360 won't have problems because they use an API
This problem is on the client side. I use an DSM-750 and have a choice to either resume where I stopped it, or start over.
Game consoles are just not the best choice for HTPC use.

Just start the netflix movie in IE and slide the bar to the start of the movie. This will reset the file marker in playon. You can do this same process to start a movie at any given point.
That should be useful for others, I don't personally use PlayOn's Netflix capability since 360's Netflix service works so beautifully (if you're willing to keep the dues up for gold service).
