I use multiple partitions on my system. C: is for Windows, while D: is for programs and data, and is much larger in size.
I couldn't find a way to install PlayOn to a different location other than C:\Program Files.
The major issue, however, is that I do not have over 5GB of free space on the C: drive. PlayOn says I do not have enough free disk space. I've noticed that when I watch programs on my PS3, they stop playing at about 44 minutes in. (Usually not a problem for shorter programs). I have plenty of free space on the D: drive, but I can't figure out how to configure PlayOn to use this for caching instead.
Please help,
~Jason

After some searching, I found this in the FAQ, which I'm hoping will solve the issue.
How do I install on a different drive?
PlayOn defaults to installing on the same partition where Windows is installed (usually the C:\ drive). This also means that the temporary scratch space that is used for transcoding media files is also on that same partition. If this partition is a bit cramped, and you want PlayOn to use a different drive for temporary files, you can create a symbolic link with our "Junction Helper" tool. It automatically downloads a Microsoft program called Junction, and makes a "symbolic link" to your preferred drive partition.
Junction Helper doesn't seem to be working for me. PlayOn still shows too little hard disk space. I did make sure to stop PlayOn before running Junction Helper, so I'm not really sure what I can do to get it to work.
The HDD space check in PlayOn Settings doesn't take junctions into account. If you used JunctionHelper, it should be working fine, and you can ignore the space check.

I had about 30GB free space on my C: drive, after just a couple of weeks of running PlayOn, my C: drive ran out of space and it caused all kinds of problems for my computer. At first I didn't know what was taking up the space until I looked in the user's local settings/temp directory and found all the video files PlayOn created, about 30GB worth. So I deleted them all.
There's gotta be a setting to point the cache folder to somewhere else besides the C:/. Considering how large these video files are, they can take up a huge chunk of space very quickly. So please, consider adding an option to set the cache folder in the PlayOn application instead of making the user set symbolic links.
I agree, could you consider putting in a future version of PlayOn the ability to select where to store the cache? It's frustrating when a piece of software makes assumptions about where to store things on my computer, and especially when the files (temporary as they may be) can get quite large.
Thanks! PlayOn offers a great service, and I hope to see it improve.
The cache is being controlled by Windows in this case. Can either of you send in support tickets through PlayOn Settings when you see cache files building up, so that we can pinpoint what may be causing it?
