We've updated the MediaMall forum with new a new look and a lot of new features as well! Here is what's new (just to name a few things):
- Avatars
- Signatures
- User Stats
- User Profiles
- User Private Messaging
- Quote Comments
- And many new forums categories!
If you haven't already discovered the changes to your user account we would highly recommend that you head over to your account page to update your profile and your preferences.
Navigate to: "My Account > Edit > Account"
to upload your avatar and change your signature and control whether other users can message you through the site.
Navigate to: "My Account > Edit > User Profile"
to update your profile page and let other forum users know more about you.
Navigate to: "My Account > Track"
to view all of the forum posts you've created and the places that you posted comments.*
*Over the next few weeks we will be working through the forum archives moving all of the discussion topics to their appropriate forum categories. You will still be able find your posts if they have been moved by using the "Search" feature (at the top of the page) or by using the "Track" page in your account.
Since this is all very new we anticipate that there may be bugs, please let us know if you experience any issues with our site or the forum. You can post your comments below.

Is avatars down? because i keep getting the following error
# The selected file \xampp\tmp/dave trip out_0.jpg could not be uploaded, because the destination sites/default/files/user_avatar/picture-8729.jpg is not properly configured.

For what it's worth, I had the same problem a when I first signed up for the forum even though I changed the pic to an 80x80 with .png format but it is working now! I just dumped a low res pic in there and it shows up now!
What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?
We just fixed this bug about an hour ago. Glad it's working now, and thanks for pointing it out TRIP.

Just a suggestion:
Can you have the Playon Announcements area of the board as read only for forum users that are not moderators or administrators since it gets blogged down with topics that do not belong in this area.
Some users rely on this forum to check updates regarding the software like updates, but it gets buried down because other posters post unnecessary stuff in this area - don't we have the general topics area for that?
