I've had occasions where I'll be working with the PC that has Playon installed and restarted PlayOn or rebooted it while my wife is 3/4 of the way through viewing something upstairs. This makes her very annoyed with me.
Would it be possible to have PlayOn show if/what devices are connected to it? Maybe you could have the tray icon change color when a user is watching. Adding a "Streaming" status in the "Current Running Status" on the control panel would help also. I've restarted PlayOn on her while adding/updating plug-ins more often that rebooting the PC.
(Improving PlayOn's fast forwarding ability would help with her anger when I do this also.)
Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. We will consider adding a feature like this, as it does sound useful. Note that if you currently check the Windows Task Manager "Processes" tab (Ctrl-Shift-Esc), you would see two "MediaMallServer.exe" instances running whenever PlayOn is actively processing a video.

Excellent suggestion!
Tray icon change color might be a good way to do this (as mentioned above) or perhaps a new Settings field.
